Another perfect day off

On Sunday I had another day off. That means waking up at 12 o´clock and that feels so great after nine days of waking up before 6 o´clock. But actually our day off started on saturday evening when we went to Erasmus park to see live streaming of Buena Vista Social Club. They were playing at Concertgebow, but the concert was sold out, so they organised this live concert in Erasmus park which was streamed on huge screen. The weather was really nice and there were hundreds of people. The atmosphere was great, people were sitting on the grass having picnic, drinking and listening to music. After first song few brave persons started to dance on a small dance floor which was in front of the screen and then many others follow them and the dance floor was later really crowded.

The other day we woke up at 12 o´clock and then we went to Stedelijk museum.We were here for the second time ( in december we were here for the first time) so we knew what we want to see and through which rooms we can just walk. With a museum card you don't have to stand in a queue, you just scan your card in the special machine and print  your ticket. The museum shop is like a toy store for people like us ( people who love art and design) so obviously we spent a lot of time here.

We left the museum at closing time and went to near Albert Hejn to buy small snack and then we decided to go to Amsterdamse Bos- Amsterdam Forest.We were enjoying riding a bike through nature, admiring forest and a lake called Nieuw Meer. On our way back home we just appeared , i do not know how, next to the mill Molen van Sloten. I was here in September with Johanka. There is a museum inside about the mills in Amsterdam and how they are changing a water level with them. It is quite far from the city centre, and that is why not so many turists come here, but those who come here do not regret, because man who works here is very kind and can nicely talk about it. So here we stopped for a while and bought my very first Vlaamse frieten- dutch fried potatoes.

My dearest friend Johanka in Amsterdam

Finally my precious diamond girl came to visit me. Sadly just for a few days and I did not get a day off despite all of that we enjoyed it  so much!

Because in the morning we were at work, she got from us a list of must see things and the Fellini exhibition at EYE was her first stop. She was so thrilled about this exhibition and talked about it only in superlatives, it forced us to go there a day after she had left Amsterdam.

 Of course we had to take her to icecream shop at Nieuwmark where is the most delicious ice cream in Amsterdam.

 Then we showed her our favourite chilling place in front of Hermitage

 The birthday party boat stopped there and a man was cleaning it and was throwing everything out.  Johi asked a man if he could give us balloons and he agreed. From that moment our balloon bouquet was the biggest attraction. 

 In the evening we made a trip to Den Haag and of course we took our ballons with us.

It was a great photo propriete.

 A day before we had bought Fujifilm instax camera which makes instant photos like polaroid cameras and this evening we had taken our very first pictures.

 Even Taibo let me took a picture of him with balloons.

 She was definitely happy to be there, so was I.

 Our girl afternoon. We had bougt box of 6 icecreams because it was extremely hot and ate them all while sitting next to gracht.

 I took her for shopping and this is a result. Her new blue converse shoes.

It feels like she was here all the time, not just few days. It was wonderful time with her here. So much positive energy.

Obviously she was also so pleased as we were from her visit here, that she have left us here lots of hidden thankful and cheerful notes. Thank you so much my dear diamond !
