Yes, October is here. Weather is getting uglier, food more and more expensive and my roommate grumpier, angrier and noisier. But I still like it here though. These things I do not spoil my enthusiasm for school , hehe.
Finally I have received my CPR number and my yellow card, so let the job hunting begin ! I have found out that at Jobcenter in Aalborg, you can print as much CV as you want. That is great news for my purse. I went there on Monday with my friend Julia, we printed our CVs and went to the city with them. But firstly we stopped by at bank in order to open our bank accounts. We were quite surprised that they just scanned our passports ( yes, you have to have your passport, ID card is not enough for them) and our CPR numbers and we´d been told to come back again on friday. Ok I guess they have different system in it, maybe they need to search all information about us for example if we are not criminals, because in my country you can have bank account open in 30 minutes. In the end of the afternoon, we went back to Jobcenter, because we had parked our bikes here and to feel more safely we had locked them together ( front wheel to front wheel and back to back). I unlocked my lock, but Julia wasnt able to find her keys, we quickly realised, that she had left them together with her USB pen in PC at Jobcenter. But Jobcenter was alreay closed by that time. We reconciled with the fact that we would have to leave our bikes in front of Jobcenter an go home on food and come to ask for keys to Jobcenter in the morning, because they were not answering the phone. Luckily literally at the last minute I noticed guy from catering company bringing some food to the building using back entrance, we quickly run there and we were so lucky that there was also woman working in Jobcenter who were receiving this food delivery, we asked her if we can look for our keys and of course we found them right where we had left them.
And quick note for those who are afraid that suffer from hunger here: I am pleased to announce that my beloved family had send me package full of cookies or sweets or how to call in english all those delicious czech sweets . :)
