On the third day of our Copenhagen trip we were lucky to enjoy again a very nice weather. We have walked through very nice Østre Anlæg, which was recommended to us by our host flatmate as a very nice park to see. Then we saw Israels Plads; very nice square with playground for children and adults and place for flea markets and nice sitting near the fountain. There is also nice food plaza full of small food shops & bistros with very good looking food.
We have spent almost half of the day walking in the beautiful Botanical garden, which was at that time in full bloom. There is very nice old glass house from 19 century with Palm House where you can climb up the beautiful stairs (see lots of pictures below) to see the palms from above. Getting up to the top of the glass house was challenging as the temperature was way more higher upstairs and the air was pretty heavy to breath. And what makes this experience even better is that admission is free.
After Botanical Garden we went to the National Gallery of Denmark, which is also free of charge (great ! :D ) You only pay if you want to visit special temporary exhibitions. When we got out of the gallery we got caught by rain (the only one during our trip) and hunger so we rush back to the Israels Plads and food plaza where we had the best pizza I have ever eaten in Denmark (so if oyu are in CPH make sure to check Gorm´s pizza).
And that is all from our third day at CPH!
