Treasures of Noord and Kinetic art in Amsterdam

I am back in Amsterdam, working hard (making breakfast at hotel) but enjoying my free time in this beautiful city.
At Noord, where we live, there is one cool, young and artistic neighbourhood created from the area of former boat docks. There are lots of cool bars made from old big ship containers or the small atelier houses builded inside big dock hall- small creative city within big building. It is a really cool place and definitely worth visiting. We have been there several times recently. Firstly we went there just to enjoy a beer and view of Amsterdam ( as seen from non touristic perspective) and took a picture of old war submarine in the haven. Another day we went there also to enjoy a beer at one of  the bars here and we happened to find out that there was Over het IJ festival. The festival was something like DrinkArt but much bigger. There were theatre performances, object exhibitions, good food and music. When we went there it was already last day of the festival so we did not have a chance to see everything but we enjoyed Wannaplay? swings which played parts of the song or intruments according to if the swing was maving or not. So people can together create some music and be happy.  It let adult enjoy swinging and be a child for a moment and it was seen on everybody´s faces : all people were smiling from ear to ear. This day there were also open ateliers at the big dock hall so we were able to explore this small creative city full of architects, designers and artists.

One day after work we finally went to Rijksmuseum garden (for the first time although we pass it every day on our way to work). Right now there are kinetic objects by Alexander Calder. It was really nice and ipressive and the garden itself is also really nice and relaxing.
