Forget me not: Back in Aalborg

I am back in Aalborg after perfect months of internship at Tam Tam Amsterdam. I was too busy to make any blog posts, but I am back.

This Friday there was carnival parade in the city center of Aalborg, it is a part of Aalborg karneval which will take a place next Saturday, event everyone is looking for except for me I guess. I am not a big fan of huge crowds of drunk dressed up people. Anyway this parade was fun, it is part of annual battle of carnival bands. So there were also some bands from other countries than Denmark like UK or Germany or Sweden. Some costumes were really weird, but you could see people of any age having fun despite not so nice danish weather. We happened to find out about it accidentally, as we were trying to enjoy some sun at Østre Anlæg park. We were having picnic and when we decided to go home, because it started to be cold, since the sun showed just for few minutes, we have overheard some noise. We decided to follow it and we found carnival parade on Boulevarden.

Other days I was trying get some new ideas for my project and rest little bit by visiting and exploring parks I have never seen before like Sohngaardsholm parken and Mølleparken. I also went to see the exhibition at Kunsthal Nord called We are all workers. I must have admit that I really like the industrial space of the Kunsthal Nord, which was nicely highlighted and supported by artworks by Mikkel Carl.
