My first days in Denmark

On Monday almost by midnight we sat down into the car and started driving towards nord to Aalborg. Journey was very tiring, but almost with no traffic because it was after midnight. There is fast road from Germany straight up to Aalborg, so after while journey started to be monotonous and we had to take turns in driving a car. At 12 AM we had reached our final destination: Aalborg. When I went to ask for my room, they said to me that there had been some misunderstanding and that I had to put my luggages into room 26 instead of 16 for a while  and they said that I would be able to move to my room in the evening or the next day. Luckily I was able to move in the afternoon. So we went to shop to IKEA and then I was able to move to my room. I share my room with Romanian girl, she seems to be OK. On Wednesday I had said goodbye to my parents and sister and went to school for registration.I had to filled up lots of papers for residence permit, CPR number and yellow card. The next day we had presentation about Denmark, Dannish culture, important things about school and life in Aalborg and so on.On friday we had presentation about Job Hunting in Aalborg and they gave us useful tips how to improve our CVs and where to look for a job. In the evening there was a big welcome party for all new international students. Everyone got a bracelet with 5 tickets for free drinks. School auditorium was decorated with colorful balloons and there were plenty of small tables with candles. There was also a small dancefloor and DJ playing music. This event was organised by school ambassadors and it was a chance for us to get to know more new people and maybe find our future classmates.
