Today I decided to explore more the Aalborg area. I went on a trip to Nibe, which is market town 15 km away from Aalborg. On my way here I made a little stop by the Neolithic Stone called Troldkirken. In danish that means troll church, kinda funny.Troldkirken is situated on a small hill by the fiord and it is surrounded by beautiful nature. Close to Troldkirken I found corn field, of course I could not resist taking few corns with me :). After that small stop I continued with cycling towards Nibe. Nature here is pretty, but the countryside is little bit more hilly than in Netherlands and the wether here is way more windy than in Netherlands. When I reached Nibe, I parked my bike in town centre and went on a tour throught city. Nibe is full of small old houses, cobblestone streets. What I liked the most was Nibe haven with its characteristic red buildings that surround the harbour on both sides. The way home was harder than the way to Nibe due to strong wind blowing against me.
