Kunsten museum visit and cover photoshoot

On 8th May we had an inspirational visit to Kunsten museum, there were some exhibitions which I already saw, but some which I did not. The one was small exhibition of retro photographs from seventies and the other one was a big exhibition called Dreamland. I have to say that when I saw promo material for Dreamland for the first time I thought and said to myself that I am not going to see this exhibition because the promo materials are just awful. When we got a brochure about the Dreamland exhibition at the entrance I slightly changed my mind, because the brochure look nice: just simple serif font and blue background with a cluster of stars. What I liked the most from the exhibition were hyper realistic pictures of people sitting on a bed and head made of small paper cutouts which made together a head full of different dreams in a way of words or little objects.
As we begin to work on our magazine we had to set up a cover photoshoot and since we are just two of us working on it : me and Ela, we both become photographers and models in our little handmade photostudio.
We came up with an idea to play around with a transparent foil, which comes together with glue bind which we decided to use for our magazine, so instead of cutting it we find a way how to use it efficiently and with a meaning for our magazine. One of our themes for the articles is a tattoo as a personal visual identity, so we decided to play around with prejudices and the judgement of people according to how they look. And we needed someone innocent and girly so I ended up at the cover ( because I have almost blond hair and blue eyes) :D.
